Gnome Sweet Home Necklace: Boone Pottery mushroom house focal, ceramic gnome, swarovski crystal, & crepe cording.

This necklace is made up of 10 round black onyx beads (8mm) spaced on silver plated chain. Pendant consists of black ceramic beads (6mm) dangling from a black ceramic bead with leaf design. Measures 24" long not including pendant. Pendant adds additional 5" plus there is a 2 1/2" extender chain for added length. Swivel lobster claw clasp.

This necklace contains all sorts of hand-made goodies!! The beautiful "Blue Steel Cascade" ceramic donut pendant and the fantastic beads that move up the hand-dyed silk cords are from local artisan, Elaine Ray (http://www.elaineray.com/). The pendant starts off with in a matte dark navy & then the glaze drips down the pendant in browns, blues, tans, & greens. The beads are varying cube shapes, cylinder shapes & diamond shapes in colors pulling from the pendant. The necklace consists of 3 colors (navy, sage green, & brown) of hand-dyed silk cords that secure the pendant with a lark's head knot & end with a large copper-toned toggle clasp. Measures approximately 34" long to bottom of pendant. Pendant measures 2 1/2" long x 2 1/4 wide.

TWEET Necklace - Etched brass pendant, dyed resin bird

Another gnome inspired necklace! A cute antiqued brass-looking door charm (opens & closes with magnetic catch), a teeny tiny ceramic gnome bead in green robe & hat, & a beautiful Elaine Ray (www.elaineray.com) clay flower charm (with an olive green & burnt sienna looking glaze) form a nice conversation piece to this antiqued brass-look necklace! Gnome door opens so you can tuck a secret message or note inside. Necklace measures approximately 20 1/4" to bottom of door pendant.

I hand formed the "tree" using 64" of base metal wire & used varying earth-toned colored stone chips to form the "leaves". The tree attaches to a green glass rectangle that measures approximately 1/2"W x 2"L. The pendant hangs from a green leather cord that I secured to the pendant by using the lark's head knot. The ends are finished by cone end caps and the large toggle clasp completes the necklace. Measures approximately 22" long. A moveable vintage bronze "Nightmare Before Halloween" pendant & a vintage brass disc, hand-stamped with "BOO" & domed by hand, hang from hand-dyed/hand-sewn black silk cording. One one side of the necklace sits a Peruvian ceramic bone bead. Finished with brass machine ends & lobster claw. Skeleton: nearly 3"L from top of head to feet & approximately 1 1/4" wide at the head Peruvian ceramic bone: approximately 22mm long & approximately 14mm wide at the widest point "BOO" disc: approximately 1" round Necklace measures approximately 24" - 24 1/2" to feet of pendant. This is a one of a kind necklace.

Hanging from a dainty antiqued copper cable chain is a 24 gauge, 2" copper disc that I etched poppies onto using Ferric Chloride. I then painted the flowers & stems using chili pepper & meadow colored alcohol inks. I've had the pendant laying around for a while and natural darkening of the copper has occured giving it a lovely antiqued look. The disc has been domed to give it a nice curve & has been sealed to protect the piece and delay any further darkening. Necklace measures approximately 24" long & is finished with an antique copper lobster claw clasp. This is a one of a kind necklace.

A Georgia clay pottery pendant with a kitten stamped on the front & glazed in a dijon mustard color (from Boone Pottery), hangs from a lark's head knot of of colorful crepe cording(blue/tan/creme/hint of pink). Ends of cording are securely glued into brass machine ends which attach to brass knurled peanut chain. Finished with brass lobster claw clasp. Pendant measures slightly more than 1 1/2" around. Necklace measures approximately 23 1/2" long.

A cute, brass-tone "owl in flight" pendant (2 1/4"w x 1 1/2"h) hangs from a brass-tone branch with leaves connector (3"w x 3/4"h) which is suspended by a brass knurled peanut chain. I've added a small brass-tone leaf charm and a faceted topaz teardrop crystal from one side for a bit of sparkle! Necklace measures approximately 24" to end of tip of owl pendant. This is a one of a kind necklace.

Fifth in a series of "playful kitten" necklaces. A Georgia clay pottery pendant with a kitten stamped on the front & glazed a dijon mustard color (from Boone Pottery), hangs from brown waxed cotton cord topped with a beautiful lampwork bead in cream with green dots (Patti Cahill) secured with a knot. Necklace finished with cord ends and a silver-plated swivel lobster claw clasp. Pendant measures approximately 1 1/2" around. Necklace measures approximately 23 1/2" long with a 2" extender chain decorated with a faceted czech glass bead that plays off the colors of the lampwork bead. This necklace is a one of a kind item.

An "Orient Express" by Blue Moon Beads pendant hangs below a painted encased glass bead. The bead has a nature scene & a man in a red robe walking toward a house. It is beautiful! I used 24 guage, 1/2" brass discs to form bead caps by first hammering the symbols & letters into the brass & then doming the discs. I secured everything together with brown waxed cotton cord. One side of the necklace has 8mm agate rondelles secured by knots & the necklace is finished with a 15mm coin & brass lobster claw clasp although the piece fits over your head without a clasp. This necklace is a one of a kind item.

Lead & nickle free antique bronze base metal pendant 52 x 24mm (approx 1 x 2") with faux rhinestone eye (which I added) hangs from a handmade lampwork bead, by Jodie Marshall, with a floral design & rhinestone center. Made long & fits over head. Measures around 35.5" long. Necklace is one of a kind.

"Enjoy The Journey" Necklace: A "Freestyle" nickle free airplane pendant with faux clock face and faux rhinestone embelishment (41mm x 44mm) hangs from base-metal rolo chain. One side of the necklace has 4 faceted clear glass beads & the other has a Jim Holtz "idea-ology" word band (9mm x 60mm) which reads "enjoy the journey". A cute pewter Pixie pendant, handmade by Green Girl Studios (approximately 22mm x 22mm including loops), hangs from a trail of pixie dust comprised of a rainbow of 4mm faceted Czech glass beads, 3mm pewter daisy spacers & 4mm floral spacer beads. A beautiful snowbell white clay pendant by Elaine Ray in green & purple glaze pairs perfectly with a green, purple & cream striped lampwork bead by Pinocean. Three strands of 1.5mm greek leather cording connects with antique brass chain. The necklace closes in the front with an antique brass tone toggle clasp from which the pendant hangs. OOAK

Hand carved bone skull beads and skeleton pendant (3 1/4" x 1 1/4") hang from curved wooden frames that fit & lay nicely around the neck. Necklace is adjustable from approximately 19" to 33" by adjusting the cord in the back. OOAK

Another owl inspired piece! I embossed a 24 gauge, 2" round copper disc with an owl motif and then blackened the entire piece. I then sanded the raised portions to bring the copper back up. The details are then brought into focus by the black that's left!! The embossing provides a different look on each side of the pendant & therefore you get two looks for the price of one! Sealed to protect the finish & to stop the natural patina process. The pendant hangs from an antiqued copper sparkle chain which has 3 gorgeous lampwork beads (made by one of my favorite lampwork artists, Mika Collins) in rust, mustard, & deep red rolled in frit, up one side of the necklace. Finished with an antiqued copper-look leaf toggle clasp. Necklace measures approximately 24" long. This is a one of a kind necklace.

A Tierra Cast brass honey bee (13mm) hangs from an antique brass-look honeycomb pendant (59mm x 44mm) which I filled with ice resin colored with buterscotch alchohol ink. A nice knurled oval antique brass chain is finished with a large (25mm x 11mm) antique brass-look floral lobster clasp. Very unique & super cute!! Measures approximately 22 1/4" long to bottom of pendant. OOAK

A miller's glass bottle filled with dandelion "wishes" & sealed with a cork, hangs from a hand-hammered washer with the word "wish" etched on it & painted with a custom blended aqua colored patina. The back of the washer is covered with aqua tissue paper with a blue flower & is sealed with Dimensional Magic*. Pendant hangs from silver-plated, diamond cut, ball chain & is finished with a lobster claw clasp (although the necklace fits over the head without use of a clasp). Necklace measures approximately 32.5" long to bottom of pendant. *Dimensional Magic is water based. Do not submerge in water. Remove before showering. OOAK

This piece is one of the 3 pieces I submitted for the "Blu Mudd Challenge Round 8" that I participated in. Each designer received the same 3 clay focal pendants/connectors & we couldn't reveal our designs until voting was over so that the votes were based on the pieces and not the popularity of the designer. My designs came in a close second! Fetish Bear pendant by Blu Mudd. Necklace is made up of 33 8mm green turquoise rondelle beads, antique brass-look bead caps, metal rounds & nickle free arrow charms, & antique brass eikon cable chain. Necklace measures approximately 31" long and is one of a kind.

Owl & Braided Silk Necklace: Features hand-made polymer clay owl pendant by Menagerie Studios & hand-dyed silk cording from Marsha Neal Studios. OOAK

One of my all-time favorite artists, Allison Weeks Thomas, recently did a run of original paintings on little wooden pendants for necklaces. She reached out to me to see if I'd like to collaborate with her on a necklace. How could I refuse!?!?! I chose this adorable girl & deer pendant to work with. I hammered texture into a 2" solid brass disc, hand-stamped "oh deer" & curved, patinated & sealed a 2" solid brass disc for the wooden pendant to sit in. I hung a little brass-tone bow & deer charm (hand-painted the white spots) from the bottom of the pendant. I made a bail out of 18 gauge wire, slid another brass-tone bow onto it for added cuteness. The pendant hangs from knurled brass peanut chain & is finished with one last brass-tone bow & a lobster claw clasp. Necklace is approximately 20" long to the pendant & the pendant is a little over 3 1/2" from the bail. Necklace is a one of a kind wearable art piece. Autumn Tree Necklace - A fantastic bare tree clay pendant by Elaine Ray hangs suspended by antiqued brass wire from a gorgeous lampwork bead by Kimberly's Corner. Kokopelli Feather Necklace - This piece is one of the 3 pieces I submitted for the "Blu Mudd Challenge Round 8" that I participated in. My designs came in a close second! Feather pendant by Blue Mudd; turquoise & coral colored howlite beads, feather connector & Kokopelli, that I painted to match the focal, using Ranger Patinas in garnet, verdigris & onyx; and silver-plated chain combine to make this Southwestern-inspired piece. 6mm turquoise heshi beads, a hammered antique silver-tone arrow cut-out connector, rhodium plate oval & cross link chain necklace, finished with a rhodium plate lobster claw clasp. OOAK Necklace measures approximately 20" long.

Dark brown faux suede cording secures a raku owl ceramic bottle (2"H x 1 5/8"W). The bottle is sealed on the inside & is perfect for essential oils, prayer or treasures. OOAK Necklace measures approximately 35" to bottom of bottle. Can be re-sized smaller by creating a new knot at the length you want.

A gorgeous Elaine Ray large clay disc bead, in varying shades of chocolate, sits nestled into a hammered & domed 1 1/2" brass disc secured by a brass rivet. Pendant hangs from brown faux suede cording. OOAK Necklace measures approximately 22" to bottom of pendant.

The focal for this piece is a "U" shaped "Rustic Canyon" copper pendant with a verdigris (blue/green patina) look (approx 1/2" W x 2 1/4" H). Up the sides of the necklace are 8x5mm dyed Serpentine Jasper aqua rondelles linked together with antiqued copper daisy spacers & antiqued copper wire. Antique-look copper "Bead Landing" chain finished with my hand-made antiqued copper clasp & closure which has been sealed with lacquer & wax. OOAK Measures approximately 25 1/4" long.

Pine Tree Necklace: A gorgeous ceramic "Evergreen" pendant (1 1/4" x 1 7/8" - signed by artist) by The Classic Bead hangs from antique brass medium knurled oval chain. Suspended above the pendant is a pinecone charm that I colored using alcohol ink (color - ginger) & Vintaj glaze. So cute & perfect for winter!! OOAK

Clay Link Necklace - I hung a gorgeous Elaine Ray clay charm glazed a beautiful earthy brown & green from thick twisted brass chain & brass cable chain to make this lovely necklace Measures approximately 20" long & secures with a brass lobster claw clasp. OOAK

A clay jelly fish pendant, from Suburban Girl, hangs from a gorgeous porcelain sea urchin bead, by Blueberri Beads. Necklace is made from a beautiful batik ribbon, in colors reminiscent of the beach & sea, from Starry Road Studios. Necklace measures approximately 18" to the sea urchin and then hangs another 1 3/4" from the sea urchin to the bottom of the jellyfish. Finished with silver-plate cord ends, lobster claw clasp, & a 1" extender with a faceted sea-colored bead dangle. OOAK

A cute pottery pendant, by Suzie Q Beads, features a little yellow bird sitting atop a sunflower. An antique brass-tone leaf connector and a faceted yellow glass bead nestled inside a clay flower bead, by Elaine Ray, play off the theme. Finished with antique brass peanut chain. Necklace measures approximately 18 1/2" to the pendant. The pedants adds another 1 1/4" in length. Finished with an antique brass-tone lobster claw clasp & a 1" extender with a yellow faceted glass dangle. OOAK

12mm Czech glass daisy coin beads in deep red opal take their place amongst a white enamel bird sitting on a branch with red enamel flowers. Necklace measures approximately 21 1/2" long to bottom of pendant. OOAK

An 8mm fern green Swarovski crystal clover bead dangles from the bail of a square, matte silver colored "Lucky" pendant (approx 3/4" wide). I painted the word "Lucky" with jade colored patina and hung the pendant from a silver-plated diamond cut ball chain. Finished with lobster claw clasp. OOAK

Little Fox Necklace: An adorable porcelain "little fox" pendant, by Majoyoal, hangs from a polymer clay connector by Summer Wind Art, which hangs from a round, hammered, copper-tone toggle clasp connected to a gorgeous piece of batik ribbon.

"Enjoy The Little Things" - Indiblue/Genevieve Gail bike pendant hangs from a colorful array of Czech glass flowers (10mm Green bell flower beads, 9mm yellow flower beads, 8mm Nirvana flower beads, & 5mm blue bell flower beads). Finishing off the necklace is a bright & cheery Japanese Chirimen cording. OOAK

This bracelet mixes approximately 140+ 6/0 czech glass seed beads in crystal blue with approximately 176+ aluminum jumprings that were individually opened and closed (by me). Clasp is a square silver-tone toggle with square accents. Bracelet measures approximately 8 1/2" long from one end of the toggle to the other & fits a 6 1/2" wrist comfortably with plenty of movement.

Multi-colored seed bead memory wire bracelet

This bracelet mixes approximately 120+ 6/0 czech glass seed beads in varying shades of pink & red with approximately 155+ aluminum jumprings that were individually opened and closed (by me). A 1 1/2" curved metal bar with the words "love" in the middle & a small open heart on the right side is the focal point of the bracelet. A tiny arrow sits on one side of the focal & a heart shaped lobster claw attaches to the open heart side of the focal. Bracelet measures approximately 8" from end to end.

This bracelet mixes approximately 140 4mm cube seed beads in shiny jet black & matte black with approximately 176 aluminum jumprings that were individually opened and closed (by me). Clasp is a large rectangle silver-tone toggle to accent the square beads in the bracelet. Bracelet measures approximately 8" long from one end of the toggle to the other.

Various color round glass seed beads (blues, purples, reds, greens, golds) & colorful crepe cord (blues, reds, & creams) are secured inside antique brass machine end caps & swirl around antique brass look, large link chain. Finished off by a 1" antique brass look connector, 6mm antique brass lobster claw clasp & 3 Czech glass flowers (pale pink) capped by pretty points antique brass bead caps & seed beads (blue, red, green). So playful & bright! Measures 8" long from end to end.

bracelet is made using a 15mm ribbed metal bead flanked by a combination of spacers & 6mm silver-plated metal beads & two silver-plated chains finished off by a 6.5mm ribbed metal bead and lobster clasp. Bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2 " long

Bracelet - Frosted hearts, metal scroll hearts, & blue faceted rondelles on silver plated chain.

This bracelet combines chacedony beads with light blue faceted round beads and stacked Tibetan silver daisy spacers. The beautiful deep blues swirl around milky whites, and light blues. Chacedony is believed to banish fear, hysteria, depression, mental illness and sadness. Measures approximately 7 3/4" long from end to end and finished with a silver plated beaded hook & eye clasp.

This bracelet is great for blue jean wear or something dressy! 5 denim sodalite square pillow beads (roughly 13mm - 14 mm) are separated by pewter daisy spacers & 3mm light blue faceted Czech glass beads. The ends of the bracelet are formed by using pewter daisy spacers in between 3mm light blue faceted Czech glass beads alternating with 6.25mm montana blue faceted glass beads. The ends are finished with a square pewter toggle. Bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long

I used household products & patience to turn this once bright 2" naked brass cuff into the beautiful aged green patina cuff you see here. These pictures don't do the coloring justice. There are gorgeous shades of copper green, dark brass, browns & even some spots of oranges & blacks. Several layers of wax & laquer were applied to seal & protect the cuff and to stop the aging. Measures 8" around & fits my 6 1/2" wrist nicely. This bracelet is a one of a kind item.

This girlie-girl bracelet is made up of purple & pink tear drop shapes swirling around on white 12mm glass beads capped by pewter floral beadcaps. In between lie 9mm pink stone beads flanked by hematite rondelle spacers. Lobster claw clasp. Bracelet measures approximately 8" long.

This colorful bracelet is made up of 90+ aluminum jumprings individually opened & closed (by me) in the "barrels" weave. Bright aluminum & a rainbow assortment of colorful annodize aluminum jumprings make for a fun & lightweight bracelet. Bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long.

Vintage flower pendant by Jill Schwartz (2" round) serves as the beautiful focal on this bracelet. Glass pearls & glass bicone beads in a topaz color dangle from medium knurled round antique brass chain. Finished with a bronze floral clasp (25mm x 11mm). Approximately 8" long. One of a kind.

I linked frosted glass rings (14mm) & bright aluminum jumprings to form this byzantine bracelet. It was hard to photograh without washing it out completely. The glass is frosted clear glass & the jumprings are bright & shiny.

Lead & nickle free antique bronze base metal charm 8 x 29mm long, .5mm gold metalic Indian Leather, measures nearly 7 1/4" from end to end. One of a kind.

This adorable bracelet is made from scrabble tiles from a 2001 game linked together with silver-plated eye hooks & aluminum jump rings. Spells HEDGIE on the back side. Front side has been decorated with scrabble tile art (glued on & sealed with dimensional glaze) with various hedge hog art with white, green, orange, & teal backgrounds. Bracelet measures approximately 8" & fits my 6 1/4" wrist nicely. Finished with a silver-plated flower toggle clasp. *Please note that the tiles are not sealed & that dimensional glaze is water based. Do not wear in the pool or in the shower/bath. I recommend removing when doing dishes.

This triple strand bracelet conisists of rhodium plated spiral chain, pink glass beads with purple seed beads, & a beautiful crepe cord (finished with machine ends) in pinks, purples, yellows, greens, & cream floral pattern, with an adorable & very detailed (on both sides) "Kokeshi with Kitty" pewter bead from Green Girl Studios. Finished with a silver plated slide clasp which forces the bracelet to spiral when closed. This bracelet is a one of a kind item.

I used a 'Metal Gallery' embossed pendant as the focal of this bracelet by punching a hole into the opposite end. I've wire wrapped 8mm black glass faceted rondelles & 6.25 glear glass faceted rondelles topped by 3mm silver glass faceted round beads and connected them to a gunmetal colored chain. Finished with a gunmetal lobster claw clasp. Lots of sparkle!! This bracelet is a one of a kind item.

16 gauge square copper (patina'd) & stainless steel bracelet with stainless steel clasp.

I combined green white heart czech glass seed beads with 1.5mm white greek leather to form these stackable bracelets. For one bracelet, I strung the seed beads directly onto the leather. For the second bracelet, I stitched the beads between two strands of leather. Both bracelets use a sparkle mini lampwork bead in a gorgeous emerald color that has been wrapped in pure silver wire & etched for a matte finish, from SueBeads, as a button closure clasp. Bracelets measure approximately 8" long. These bracelets are one of a kind.

I used household products to turn this once bright 2" naked brass cuff into the beautiful aged patina cuff you see here. I love how some of the brass shows through the blue, black & green patina. Cuff has been sealed with wax & laquer to protect the cuff and to slow the natural patina process. OOAK

A sweet pale green ceramic bird bead (20mm), handmade by Blue Berri Beads, sits atop a cute coral & grey hand-carved clay heart by Pips. Glass pearls (I believe to be vintage, but am not 100%) are knotted and finished with a large floral lobster claw clasp (25mm x 11mm) in an antique brass color. OOAK

Birdhouse Earrings with bird dangles

Parakeet blue glaze pops on the dark clay of the connectors (14mm) & beads (7mm) from local Raleigh artistan, Elaine Ray! The antiqued copper findings coordinate perfectly with the dark clay. Earrings measure nearly 2" long from top of antiqued copper earwires.

4mm faceted Czech glass beads in shades of greens, golds & blues sit on hand-formed memory wire teardrop hoops. Earrings measure nearly 2 1/5" long from top of silver-plated earwires & are approximately 1 1/2" at the widest point.

I aged 3/4" round red brass discs giving them a beautiful green patina. I then sanded, domed & sealed them to help slow the natural patina process. The beautiful discs hang from 8mm green rondelle turquoise (which I bought when I was home in New Mexico back in November) capped by 3mm antique brass colored flat spacers. The turquoise color & matrix are a perfect match with the patina & brass. Earrings measure approximately 1 3/4" long from top of antique brass colored earwires.

Adorable Czech glass owl beads (19mm) take center stage on these earrings. To add a little bit of sparkle, I added 6mm jet dorado Swarovski bicone crystals to the earwires. Copper Filigree & Frosted Glass Earrings: Beautiful antique copper-tone filigree end cones are filled with tiny clear Czech glass faceted beads, matte white rondelle beads, & frozen white Czech glass matte beads. Secured with a copper-tone ball end headpin. These would go well dressed up or dressed down! Earrings measure 2 1/2" from top of antique copper-tone earwires. OOAK

Beautiful clay leaf charms, in a white clay with a denim blue glaze, by Elaine Ray hang from sterling silver jumprings on hand-made sterling silver earwires with 6mm Montana Satin Swarovski Crystal bicones. The clay looks whiter in the photos, but is more of an off-white with hints of the blue glaze. OOAK Earrings measure approximately 2 1/4" long.

Matte black faceted glass round beads & matte black glass dangles look like glass that has been tumbled by the sea! Paired with antique brass -look findings. OOAK
