Fraternal Twins Earrings
Tiny violet lampwork glass beads (8mm x 5mm) from The Spacer Shop sit atop small (10mm) lampwork glass beads from Thornburg Bead Studios which is sandwiched between pewter spacers. The reason I call these "fraternal twins" is because the two larger lampwork beads appear to look the same upon first glance, but there is a slight color variation between the two! They both have the same beautiful bluish-green base, but the bluish-purple swirl in the center is more purple in one bead & more blue in the other. I didn't notice it when I chose the pair & it won't be noticeable when you wear them.

I used alcohol ink in "wild plum" to color the pattern on the "Fresh" lead & nickle free charms (16mm x 9mm) & sealed them with spray laquer. The charms hang from Elaine Ray small flat tube clay beads (12mm x 7mm) in a raspberry glaze secured with silver-plated wire.
